Happy Superbowl Sunday! I don't have any Superbowl nails to show you but I do have a holographic gradient! I was dying to try out this idea and it kind of worked. You can see the gradient in the shade but it goes away in the sun. It was a bit tricky too to get this to work. I started with a base of Layla Holographic in Mermaid Spell and I then top coated the base with Seche Vite. I tried sponging over it without the top coat but it kept taking my base off. So after my top coat dried I painted Mermaid Spell and Fnug Psychadelicon on my makeup sponge and dabbed away. I didn't top coat after I was done because I wanted a strong Holographic effect.
What do you think? I am dying to try this with a stronger color contrast. I "really need" more holographic polishes! :)
